South End Soccer is organizing soccer clinics for this Fall and they're looking for volunteer coaches for Saturday mornings, mid-September through mid-November. Programming will be at Rotch Field in South End for 5-12 yr olds.
This is a great chance to connect with community and be part of something positive for kids in South End. Prior coaching experience is not a must - we will have a training session with Mass Youth Soccer for all coaches, date TBA.

Volunteers can work any time that they choose. Ringer Park is MBTA accesible by Bus # 57 from Kenmore Station, #66 from Harvard and Dudley Stations to the Cambridge St./Union Square Stop, and the Green Line from the Allston Street Stop.

Monday, October 13 The Fenway Alliance's 7th annual Opening Our Doors, Boston's largest annual
free day of cultural activities, will officially kick off at 10:00 am on Monday, October 13th with a special performance by the Boston Children's Chorus. The opening events will take place on the Christian Science Plaza located near the intersection of Huntington Avenue (Avenue of the Arts) and Massachusetts Avenue (Avenue of Music). Other cultural organizations throughout the Fenway area will host music and dance presentations, gallery exhibits, and neighborhood tours (see
www.fenwayculture.org for a full list of activities).
Opening Our Doors 2008 offers more free museum and gallery admissions, concerts, lectures, tours and activities for families and children than ever before. As in years past, the Muse um of Fine Arts, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, MassArt, School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and Mary Baker Eddy Library galleries will all be open to the public, free of charge. From New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall to the Wheelock Family Theatre, a range of classical and jazz music will be featured on October 13th with Berklee Colelge of Music and Boston Conservatory student
musicians, Project STEP and other guest artists.
