Cell Phones for Soldiers West Roxbury Community Centers is working with "Cell Phones for Soldiers" to collect old cell phones and accessories. The donated phones are sent to ReCellular, which pays Cell Phones for Soldiers for each phone - enough to provide an hour of talk time to soldiers abroad. BCYF Central Office (1483 Tremont Street, Mission Hill) is now a collection site. Bring your old cell phones and accessories to the 4th floor and deposit them in the box on the table in "library." The phones do not have to be working - it's the parts that they want. So de-clutter and do some good at the same time. | Green Boston: City Policy & Practice Thursday, November 20 8:30 to 10:00 AM Boston Public Library, Copley Square, Raab Lecture Hall 700 Boylston Street (MBTA Green Line Copley Station) You are invited to join James Hunt, Chief of Environmental and Energy Services for the City of Boston and Kairos Shen, Chief Planner for the City of Boston as they discuss innovative programs and policies the City of Boston has implemented to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions the implications of Boston's nationally recognized green building zoning requirements.
