Introduction to the black side.............

For a while I have been concerned that the black side of life and design here in the city of boston gets overlooked. In a city that is 51% minority with a Black Governor, why do we have to work so hard to know about all the exciting things that are happening in the city? Therefore the goal of this blog is to pass along information about events, activities, job opportunities and restaurant reviews from a minority perspective. The Black side or hidden side of life and design here in Boston is the scope of what you will find in the posts. And some occasional commentary will also make its way to the web. Enjoy!

Registration deadline: Wednesday, October 10
This 8-hour comprehensive review of the three Graphics Divisions of the ARE is sponsored by the ARE Success Teams program. The presenters for the seminar are Robert Elfer, NCARB and Bob Wise AIA, who have led similar sessions at the 2006 and 2007 AIA Conventions.
The seminar provides an in-depth analysis of preparation recommendations, test-taking strategies, fatal errors, and timesaving techniques. The lecturers will discuss what candidates must know to pass the examination, ways of improving scores, and the best approach for developing a logical, passing solution to each vignette.
Attendees may attend individual sessions, and also have the option of purchasing mock exams to take home, solve, and return to the lecturers for grading and comments.
