Although Tom has been administering the permit processing system in Boston ISD for years, in his new capacity as Associate Inspections Engineer, Tom serves both the the City of Boston ISD and the Boston Fire Department in reviewing construction plans for code and city process.
Tom's presentation will cover:
- Fast Track program
- Construction Control per 780CMR
- Boston's affidavit process for permits and C of O
- Clerk of the works
- Boston Construction License process
- Boston's "one stop shop"
- Short Forms
- Sign offs from other city agencies
